Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PayArith handles information when you use payarith.com. PayArith provides educational calculators and guides about salary, compensation, benefits, equity, relocation, and career decisions.

This policy describes the current application and its current code-level data practices. It does not claim that the technical infrastructure used to deliver a website processes no information.

Information entered into calculators

PayArith does not require an account. When you select a Calculate action, the values you entered are passed to calculation functions in the browser and used to display an estimate on the current page. In the current implementation, those values are not sent to a PayArith API or separate PayArith database and are not stored as a user profile.

The application holds form values and displayed results in the current page state while you work. It does not deliberately persist them through localStorage, sessionStorage, or cookies. Resetting clears that state; your browser may independently retain or restore information through features such as autofill, history, or page restoration.

Only enter information needed for the calculation. Do not enter names, Social Security numbers, bank or payment details, account credentials, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive information. Results depend on the accuracy and completeness of the values and assumptions you provide.

Technical information involved in delivering the site

Hosting, content-delivery, network, or security providers may technically process standard request data needed to deliver and protect the site. Depending on the provider and request, this may include an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, and security or delivery logs.

The PayArith application does not currently expose an administrative log system or application database that uses this technical information. Infrastructure providers may retain and use their operational records according to their own configurations, legal obligations, and privacy policies.

Cookies and similar technologies

The PayArith application does not currently set cookies or use localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, or similar identifiers to remember or track visitors. There is therefore no PayArith cookie preference control or consent banner at this time.

This statement concerns the current application code. Independent infrastructure involved in delivering or securing a request may operate under its own policies. If PayArith introduces cookies or similar application-level storage, this policy will be updated before that practice is enabled.

Analytics and advertising

PayArith does not currently use analytics services, advertising scripts, behavioral trackers, or tracking pixels. It does not build advertising profiles or sell personal information.

If analytics, advertising, or a new data practice is proposed later, the relevant disclosures and controls will be added before the practice is enabled.

Third-party infrastructure and external links

PayArith depends on third-party infrastructure to make the site available. Those providers may process technical request data as independent service providers or controllers under their own terms and policies.

Some guides and calculator pages link to government resources or other external websites for background information. Following a link takes you to a service PayArith does not control. That service may collect information or use cookies under its own privacy policy.

Data retention

PayArith does not retain calculator entries in a PayArith account, user profile, or separate application database. Values exist in the current browser page state only for the active use described above.

Retention of technical request, security, or delivery records is controlled by the relevant infrastructure provider and may vary based on operational settings and legal requirements.

Data security

PayArith limits application-level data exposure by not requiring accounts and by not transmitting calculator entries to a PayArith API in the current implementation. No website or delivery system can be guaranteed completely secure, and infrastructure remains subject to technical and operational risk.

You can reduce risk by avoiding unnecessary sensitive information, using a current browser, and protecting your device and network.

Children’s privacy

PayArith is a general-audience service about work and compensation and is not directed to children under 13. The application does not offer accounts or forms intended to collect personal information from children. If future features change that design, this policy will be revised before those features are introduced.

International access

PayArith is written primarily for a United States audience, but people may access it from other places. The calculators may not reflect the laws, taxes, benefits, currencies, or employment practices that apply where you live or work.

Technical request data may be processed in locations used by the providers that deliver the site, subject to their policies and applicable law.

Privacy choices and applicable rights

Privacy rights depend on where you live and on who controls the relevant information. Because PayArith does not currently maintain accounts, user profiles, or a database of calculator entries, it may not hold application data that can be accessed, corrected, or deleted for an identified visitor.

If PayArith controls information that relates to you, a request will be considered under applicable law. Information independently processed by hosting, CDN, network, or security providers may be subject to those providers’ policies and request procedures.

Changes to this policy

PayArith may revise this policy when the site, its infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The updated text and date will appear on this page. Material new data practices will be described before they are enabled where required.
